Scenic Drive is both a journey and a destination. The area is a city park that closes to motorists every Sunday, to accomodate foot traffic. Scenic Drive affords spectacular views of the U.S. southwest and Mexico, specifically Ciudad Juarez and the countryside. Binoculars are available on site, too.

The Magoffin Home State Historic Site is a stately adobe home and one of the oldest surviving structures in the area. Docents in period costumes offer tours of the home, occupied for nearly 100 years by a multicultural family who participated in the settlement of the area, the military and local trade.
