National Border Patrol MuseumThe National Border Patrol Museum is a truly unique experience, where visitors can journey through the history of the U.S. Border Patrol. The agency has enjoyed a long history in the U.S., beginning in the Old West and continuing on through Prohibition, World War II and into today's high-tech world. Artifacts include uniforms, firearms, photographs and other equipment used by agents. Vehicles on display include four-wheel drives, airplanes and boats.

The National Border Patrol Museum was founded in 1978 during a summit among Border Patrol Inspectors from across the country. They established a fraternity for Border Patrol agents, along with plans to build the museum. The museum prospered and eventually moved to a large facility in 1994. It now houses more than 80 years of artifacts, photos and other memorabilia from the U.S. Border Patrol. The museum tour also includes a gift shop.
