Fort Bliss MuseumThe Fort Bliss Museum and Study Center will delight and amaze history buffs and fans of military aviation.

The museum details the history of Fort Bliss from its beginnings in 1848 as a mounted infantry to its current incarnation as America's Air and Missile Defense Center of Excellence.

Displays also chronicle the introduction of aircraft in World War I. Another popular attraction at the Fort Bliss Museum is the recreation of fort life in the 1800s.

The collections here include military weaponry and uniforms, early Southwest home life items and civilian firearms.
