The Abraham Chavez Theater in downtown El Paso is a structural marvel, inviting visitors with its 3-story glass facade and an overall shape that evokes the sombrero. In fact, the facility helps define El Paso's cityscape.

The 2,500-seat theater is located next to the El Paso Convention & Performing Arts Center. The intimate facility has hosted world-renown musical acts, Broadway plays, symphonies and other performances. The Abraham Chavez Theater was named after a man who helped shape the cultural emphasis of the El Paso Symphony, longtime conductor Maestro Abraham Chavez. Past performances by well-known acts have included Beck, the Goo Goo Dolls, Yo Gabba Gabba and Disney Live! performances.
